In fact these were a commission for Claire & Ewan who when moving in to her first home discovered the elderly gentleman who lived there beforehand had saved all the stickers from the blue cheeses he had ever bought and stuck them to the walls of the kitchen. Claire and Ewan are in the process of doing the house up but did not want to forget their kitchen's semi-permanent record of the prices of discount blue cheese throughout the passage of time, so I immortalised a few of their favourites in this illustration for them.
